Recurring Events

Recurring events are used for regularly scheduled gatherings like weekly worship services, prayer meetings, and Bible studies.

Creating a Recurring Event

1. When creating an event, select Recurring as the event type
2. Configure the recurrence pattern:

   • Never — Continues indefinitely
   • After N occurrences — Stops after a set number
   • On date — Stops on a specific date

Managing Occurrences

Each occurrence of a recurring event can be managed individually:

• Edit a single occurrence (e.g., change time for a holiday service)
• Cancel a single occurrence without affecting future ones
• Take attendance per occurrence

Services vs. Events

In Holy, Services are a special type of recurring event used specifically for worship services. Services support:

• Attendance tracking with check-in
• Multiple service times per Sunday
• Campus-specific service schedules
