Engagement Tracking
Engagement tracking helps you understand how connected people are to your church community.
Engagement Score
Each person receives an engagement score based on their activity:
| Activity | Points |
|---|---|
| Service attendance | +10 per service |
| Group attendance | +5 per meeting |
| Online giving | +10 per donation |
| Event registration | +5 per event |
| Volunteer service | +15 per instance |
Scores are calculated over a rolling 90-day window.
Engagement Levels
| Level | Score Range | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Highly Engaged | 80+ | Active in multiple areas |
| Engaged | 40–79 | Regular participation |
| Somewhat Engaged | 10–39 | Occasional participation |
| Disengaged | 0–9 | Little to no recent activity |
Engagement Dashboard
The engagement dashboard (accessible from People > Engagement) shows:
- Distribution of engagement levels across your church
- Trends over time (growing, stable, declining)
- People who have recently become disengaged
- New visitors who are becoming more engaged
Using Engagement Data
Engagement tracking helps pastoral teams:
- Identify people who may need a check-in call
- Celebrate milestones (e.g., first-time giver, consistent attender)
- Measure the effectiveness of outreach programs
- Generate reports for church leadership
