Group Membership

Manage who belongs to each group and what role they play.

Adding Members

Members can be added to a group in three ways:

  1. Manual — Group leader or staff adds a person from the directory
  2. Self-join — Members browse available groups and request to join
  3. Bulk add — Select multiple people from the directory and add to a group

Member Roles

RolePermissions
LeaderFull group management, attendance, communication
Co-LeaderAttendance and communication, cannot delete group
MemberView group info and other members

Managing Members

From the group page, leaders can:

  • View all current members
  • Change a member's role
  • Remove a member from the group
  • See each member's attendance history within the group

Group Capacity

If a group has a capacity limit:

  • The group shows as "Full" when capacity is reached
  • Self-join requests are added to a waitlist
  • Leaders are notified when the waitlist has entries
  • Leaders can override capacity to add members manually
