Audit Logs
Audit logs record every significant action taken within your church's Holy account, providing an accountability trail.
What's Logged
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| People | Person created, edited, deleted |
| Groups | Group created, member added/removed |
| Giving | Donation recorded, fund created, statement generated |
| Events | Event created, registration received |
| Users | User invited, role changed, deactivated |
| Settings | Church profile updated, permissions changed |
Log Entry Fields
Each log entry includes:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Timestamp | When the action occurred |
| User | Who performed the action |
| Action | What was done (create, update, delete) |
| Resource | What was affected (person, group, etc.) |
| Details | Specific changes made |
| IP Address | The user's IP address |
Viewing Audit Logs
Go to Settings > Audit Logs to browse the activity log. You can filter by:
- Date range
- User
- Action type
- Resource type
Retention
Audit logs are retained for 2 years. Logs older than 2 years are automatically archived.
