Online Giving

Holy integrates with Stripe Connect to process online donations securely.

Setting Up Stripe Connect

Go to Settings > Giving > Stripe Connect
Click Connect with Stripe
Complete the Stripe onboarding process (business info, bank account, identity verification)
Once connected, online giving is automatically enabled

Donation Flow

Member visits giving page
  → Selects fund and amount
  → Enters payment method (card, ACH)
  → Stripe processes the payment
  → Donation is recorded in Holy
  → Member receives email confirmation

Supported Payment Methods

Credit/Debit Card	2.9% + $0.30	2 business days
ACH Bank Transfer	0.8% (max $5)	5-7 business days

Fees are charged by Stripe and are separate from Holy platform fees.

Giving Page

Members can access the giving page at:

From within the app: Giving > Give Now
Direct link: app.holyplatform.com/give

The giving page shows:

Available funds with descriptions
Amount input (preset amounts + custom)
Payment method selection
Option to make it recurring
Option to cover processing fees

Manual Donations

Staff can also record cash, check, and in-kind donations manually:

Go to Giving > Record Donation
Select the person (or create a new record)
Enter amount, fund, date, and payment method
Save
