Funds

Funds allow donors to designate their gifts to specific purposes within your church.

Creating a Fund

  1. Go to Settings > Giving > Funds
  2. Click Create Fund
  3. Enter the fund details:

NameFund name (e.g., "General Fund", "Building Fund")
DescriptionWhat this fund supports
Goal (optional)Target amount for fundraising campaigns
ActiveWhether this fund appears on the giving page

Default Fund

One fund must be marked as the default fund. This is pre-selected on the giving page when donors don't choose a specific fund.

Common Fund Examples

FundPurpose
General FundOperational expenses, staff salaries
Building FundConstruction, renovation, facility maintenance
Missions FundMission trips and missionary support
Benevolence FundHelping members and community in need
Youth FundYouth ministry programs and activities

Fund Reporting

Each fund has its own financial tracking:

  • Total received (all time, year-to-date, monthly)
  • Progress toward goal (if set)
  • Donor count
  • Average gift size
