Stripe Integration

Holy uses Stripe Connect to process online donations securely. Each church connects their own Stripe account to receive donations directly.

Connecting Your Stripe Account

Go to Settings > Giving > Stripe Connect
Click Connect with Stripe
Complete Stripe's onboarding (business info, bank account, ID verification)
Once approved, online giving is activated

How It Works

Donor → Holy Giving Page → Stripe → Your Church's Bank Account

Holy never holds donor funds. Stripe handles:

PCI compliance
Payment processing
Fraud detection
Refunds

Supported Payment Methods

Method	Processing Fee	Settlement Time
Credit/Debit Card	2.9% + $0.30	2 business days
ACH Bank Transfer	0.8% (capped at $5.00)	5-7 business days

Processing fees are charged by Stripe. Churches can optionally allow donors to cover these fees.

Managing Your Stripe Account

After connecting, you can manage your Stripe account directly through the Stripe Dashboard for:

Viewing payment history
Managing disputes and refunds
Updating bank account details
Viewing payout schedules

Disconnecting

To disconnect your Stripe account, go to Settings > Giving > Stripe Connect and click Disconnect. This will disable online giving until a new account is connected.
